Da Field
Comprising childhood friends Duane "Young Wayne" Taylor, Petion "Pate-O" Evans and Christopher "Young Chris" Foote, together known as Da field (Wynnefield Natives) grew up together in the West Philly district of Philadelphia. Rapping from an early age, and basically being from the same hood they adopted the name Da Field the normal hang out spot for the trio, a well known area in West known as Wynnefield.
These three young guys came up in the streets of west philly and have seen alot and sure have done alot which leads them to rap about hard times and everyday street life.
Creating there own mixtapes and doing neighborhood freestyle battles they've gained the strength that alot of young rapper's don't have which is basically "I'll eat yall face"
They've came to the thought of going the full route to become famous hip hop artist when Pate-O encouraged his fellow members that they had what it took to go all the way.
The group still hasn't landed a deal but are fresh on the scene...but listen they here to take over the philly streets.
Young Chris a seventeen year old cat..Chris has the flow of a true spitta. He'll tell you himself "Stop Ya Hating..Stop Debating...Understand Feel My Shit..Start Relating" a line from his second single "Hatin" found on Da Field Mixtape Vol. 1 What the youngin' brings to the group is his fast paced flow..his upbeat style and his well thought out lyrics that is definetly needed these days. With all the commercial artist out there writing these bubble gum rhymes TRUST he'll definetly be one of philly's hot up and coming artist stay tuned!!!
Now this nigga aww man..He's only nineteen and at that age his hardcore street lyrics puts the "S" in street when it comes to these three artist. He has his own artistic way of flowing sometime fast sometime slow but on either pace he really knows how to get his point across. The streets brew some real niggas sometime and trust this nigga wayne counts as one of the few real niggas out right now! His smash single "Your gonna love me" the second track on Da Field Mixtape Vol. 1 puts that special feeling in your stomach when you hear it fa real fa real...the hard bass and his unique flow mix together just perfect for the well known track produced by the "Heatmakers". Young wayne has the heart of a lion and definetly is a hard working individual look forward to him and his crew dismantling the hip hop scene.
Pate-O who is twenty one years old..this nigga truely dismantles niggas..his heart filled punch lines and aggresive actions along with the tone of voice really rips the heart out of these wanksta's. He's seen on the Wynnefield Live Freestyle Battle DVD Vol. 1...straight crushing anybody that steps in his path. If you want hot bars holla at this nigga..he's just the man if you got a battle go see him and he'll rip the set flat Wynnefield style. Pate-O has been in the game for a couple years now..working on his game and getting together his lyrics thats here to let niggas know the real. He formally appeared with the "Tru Spittas" a group other than him the others go by the names of Mas and Rock..Things didn't workout as great but hey they come back in time and now he sparks the group "Da Field"...
